Interviews: Pimp C on Prison, The South, Etc.

Shortly before I left the BlogSpot/Google cesspit for greener pastures, I had posted the first page of a Pimp C interview that ran in the May 2005 issue of OZONE magazine while he was still locked up for his probation violation, and not long after the release of The Sweet James Jones Stories. My initial plan was to post the rest later on in the week, but after my computer problems and moving the blog to its new domain, I had pretty much forgot about it.

That’s a real shame, because it’s a rather interesting interview. For example, he talks (very) briefly about the material on The Sweet James Jones Stories and where it originated from:

“It’s all freestyle material I did between December of 2000 and January of 2002. It was all compiled from freestyle tapes. It’s just something to hold the fans over until I get back.”

Anyway, it’s a month late, but you can read the rest after the jump.
